SATE
Sate is a food originating from the Java region of Indonesia. Sate is made from meat that is cut into small cubes then skewered using a wooden skewer and the spices used are slightly liquid peanut sauce. The meat that is usually used to make satay is chicken and beef.
However, all processed meats can be made into satay, such as pork, etc. There are many types of satay, such as Sate Maranggi, Sate Padang, Sate Madura, Sate Taichan, Sate Lilit etc.
The Sate I ate above was chicken satay with a combination of sweet and spicy peanut sauce. Usually the satay is given soy sauce first and then grilled so that it has a sweet taste and is not bland. The meat is tender and juicy and the delicious spices combine with the mixture of meat to make the taste of the satay very delicious and an appetizing appearance.
